Mt. Redoubt is alive....and active....and RED!

Mt. Redoubt is an active volcano that is 50 miles west of Kenai. Kenai is about 7-10 west of Soldotna. Mt. Redoubt has went from a level orange to a level red as of yesterday. The last time it erupted was in 1989. It shot 40,000 feet straight up in the air and hit a jet that was flying over. We are carrying out camera around hoping to get shots of it when it decides to erupt. It has smoke coming out which they say happens just before it erupts. It is all over the news here. Please be in prayer for us as we have no idea what to do and are totally at His mercy. :-)

Also, today Scott's mom is having knee surgery. Please remember her in your prayers too. :-)

Just wanted to keep you updated...Bless you all!

Well, God is giving you guys all kinds of exciting experiences while you are there! Stay out of the way of Mr. Redoubt. He sounds angry!
